Middle Ground

RIP

Very few people know that how nuns come and spend their lives for the betterment of the community and people. Sr. Suzanne Dolan came to Bahawalpur, Pakistan in 1958 and stayed here for 47 years and only went back when her health could not stand the heat of the desert, in 2005. She wished to live all her life here with people she cared and worked for. She came back last year and met all her students, colleagues and community members and this is when we saw her last.
A lovely and brave woman who influenced the lives of many in this small city.

May her soul rest in peace. We miss you.

She was a lovely w0man who taught me my mathematics so well that even now when I help my kids with their homework I feel as if she is with me. When I was passig out of school in 1988 she asked me my future plans I told her I intended to persue medicine ( I did my MBBS from KEMC in 1996) but would always remember her reply that day. She said,” by the time you become a doctor I would probably be pushing up daisies.”I am sure all these daisies are as beautiful as she was.may her blessed soul find eternal peace
